Charmaine Mapundu's Testimony
Charmaine was borne unable to swallow. She had a condition called Tracheo-
Oesophagael Fistula (Oesophagael Atresia with lower pouch fistula). Over a period
of nine months she had four surgeries to correct her condition and deal with related
complications, Tracheo-malacia and H-fistula occurrence and recurrence.
The figures below show a normal child in figure 1 and a child with Oesophagael
Atresia with lower pouch fistula, the condition Charmaine had, in figure 2.

Figure 3 below shows a child with Tracheo-malacia and figure 4 shows a child with
H-fistula.

Charmaine went for a year tube feeding. When she was ten months old, her parents
met Pastor Zimbango who led them to accept Jesus Christ as their Master and
Saviour. The ministry dedicated time to praying and fasting for Charmaine.
On the 27th of September 2003 Charmaine went for a review and tests so that she
could be started on oral feeds. The results were not favourable. She needed another
operation to correct a recurrence of an H-fistula. A week later after meeting the
surgeon, more tests were scheduled for the 27th of October 2003. Come the 27th of
October 2003, Charmaine was found okay. The H-fistula had “disappeared.”
Doctors left her NG tube in for topping up feeds in case she had difficulties. For more
than a year then Charmaine, had always taken her food through NG tube. She had
no idea that in order to fill her tummy she had to eat. That very day she pulled the
tube off and fed well to this day. She did not need any therapy.
Jesus Christ was with Charmaine and healed her from Oesophagael Atresia with
lower pouch fistula, Tracheo-malacia and H-fistula occurrence and recurrence
